Essex Management Receives Polk County Tax Collectors Seal of Compliance!

We are a small company specializing on the homeowner offering a personalized service to suit your needs & not ours. With your home being in Florida and you being overseas, distance is the number one factor that you cannot control. Therefore peace of mind and trust are probably the two most important factors in your selection of your management company caring for your vacation home.

You worked hard for it, why trust it to a company that you dont fully know? Apart from the day to day activities involved in the maintenance and cleaning and general upkeep of your home, its the "official" side too. All homes need to be licensed with the correct County Tax Collectors office for Tourist Development Tax & the new Business Tax Receipt. There is also the Registration for Sales & Use Tax with the Dept of Revenue. Taxes need to be paid in a timely manner and there is no room for error - these are vital components as your management company may take the appropriate taxes from you each month, but are they submitting it to the correct party in a timely manner - if at all?

Essex Management fully understands the legal requirements for your home being used as a vacation rental as well as being available 24/7 for your important guests renting your home. We do not claim to be the cheapest Management Company, but we feel service shouldn't be compromised, and therefore you get what you pay for.  Also, please note that there are no visa/immigration issues with Essex Management or its owners, so you never have to worry about the longevity of the company, we are here to stay!
